What Kivo is

Kivo is a tool that helps you draft resumes, cover letters, and related job-application materials from information you provide, using an AI model that runs on your own device. Kivo is a writing and drafting aid. It is not a career counseling service, a recruiting service, or a guarantee of employment outcomes of any kind.

AI-generated content — your responsibility to review

Kivo uses an AI model to draft language based on facts you provide and approve. While Kivo includes a deterministic fact-checking feature ("Truth Lock") designed to flag content not backed by information you confirmed, no AI system is perfect, and Truth Lock is a best-effort safeguard, not a guarantee. You are solely responsible for reviewing every document Kivo generates before you send, submit, or rely on it in any way. Do not submit any content you have not personally reviewed and confirmed to be accurate.

No guarantee of employment outcomes

Kivo does not guarantee that using the app will result in interviews, job offers, employment, or any specific career outcome. Hiring decisions are made by third parties (employers, recruiters, applicant tracking systems) entirely outside Kivo's control. Kivo makes no representation about how any specific employer or system will respond to a document created with the app.

Your account and data

Kivo does not require an account and does not store your data on any server we control — see our Privacy Policy for full detail. You are responsible for keeping your own device secure and for any backups you choose to create.

Payment

Certain features may require a one-time purchase processed through Google Play Billing, subject to Google Play's own terms and refund policies. Zenova does not process or store your payment information directly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kivo to:

• Generate content for someone else's job application without their knowledge and consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or misuse the on-device AI model
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law

Disclaimer of warranties

Kivo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zenova AI LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of employment opportunity, income, or data, arising from or related to your use of Kivo. Our total liability for any claim related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Kivo after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
